Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
- Proven experience delivering design solutions for large-scale and complex projects
- Background in managing extensive teams, including around 120+ indirect reports and over 4 direct reports, or experience as an operations manager
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders
- Over 5 years of experience in analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a data center or similar critical environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations and maintenance of data center mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency responses, and change management
- Supervise teams responsible for the installation, repair, and decommissioning of data center hardware and network devices
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop management teams for data center cluster operations
- Manage vendor performance in relation to maintenance and achieve management goals
- Implement the infrastructure operations support for new cluster launches, new data center openings, and expansions of existing facilities
- Set and adhere to operational performance goals related to safety, security, availability, capacity, inclusiveness, and cost
- Ensure the physical security of personnel, assets, and customer data within data centers
- Conduct operations budgeting and oversee capital expenditures and operating expenses aligned with management targets
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools pertaining to safety, security, incident responses, management, recovery, and resolution
