Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven track record of bringing new design concepts from exploration and development to deployment or mass production
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems
- Experience with power management and monitoring systems
- Over 5 years of project management experience in data centers or similar critical infrastructure
- Familiarity with essential data center equipment
- Understanding of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations such as Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA
- Experience in interpreting construction specifications and drawings across all domains
Responsibilities
- Oversee project management and execution within Amazon data centers
- Provide technical expertise and resource support for critical infrastructure improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal utilization of space, power, and cooling
- Identify areas for enhancement based on data analysis from various teams
- Lead and direct project scope covering electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems
- Ensure alignment of project execution with company strategy and goals
- Advocate for safety and security standards while managing ongoing infrastructure projects
