Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
Responsibilities
- I’ll build and own data artifacts, including data models, ETLs, visualizations, ML models, and simulations on large multidimensional datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- I will perform detailed analyses and models to provide data for decision-making processes, including the presentation of results and recommendations both in written and verbal forms.
- I’ll collaborate closely with partners and customers to understand programs and business goals, contributing to the design and definition of innovative measurement methods.
- I will work alongside software development and business teams to design requirements for capturing and storing essential data points needed in metrics and modeling.
- I’ll adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, ensuring data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.

In the AWS Data Center Bridge team, I need an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to develop insights that influence operations in our data centers. Your efforts will affect software components and directly impact technicians’ daily activities. A successful BIE will be a subject matter expert on the data, anticipate its long-term needs, and embrace navigating ambiguity.
