Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in construction or project management
- Background in carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems
- 5+ years in project management within data centers or similar critical infrastructure (preferred)
- Familiarity with data center engineering operations and understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings for various domains (preferred)
- Knowledge of critical data center equipment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams to develop operational plans specifying scope, schedule, resource, and budget requirements for at least 12-18 months
- Standardize processes, tools, data, and reporting criteria to measure key portfolio performance indices for success
- Streamline program planning data, including scope definitions, cost and labor estimates, and schedule estimates for existing and new programs
- Design and implement enhanced estimating mechanisms that utilize actual performance data through automated feedback loops
- Set and manage goals related to safety, quality, team productivity, vendor performance, and cost control
- Create accurate, timely reports on portfolio status for business and finance partners
- Organize and facilitate value stream mapping sessions with key stakeholders to analyze work throughput, identify inefficiencies, explore root causes, and develop solutions for optimizing processes
- Collect feedback from internal customers and stakeholders to promote portfolio and program enhancements
- Manage change, risk, and resources effectively as organizational demands evolve
- Develop new programs aligned with the teams strategic direction and organizational goals
