Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training (Military/Trade School) or 2+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or fire systems in mission-critical infrastructure or similar industry
- 4+ years of experience in data center engineering (preferred)
- Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections to gather and document data from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems to ensure continuous reliability
- Oversee Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS)
- Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level issues within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Execute rack installations and decommissioning activities in line with SLA
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repairs on electrical and mechanical apparatus
- Produce technical documentation to support change management
- Manage daily work requests to ensure resolution and oversee projects from inception to completion
- Provide on-site support to contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to established protocols and local laws
- Be flexible with shift schedules, including 12-hour rotations and potential on-call requirements
- Support multiple sites as required
