Requirements
Must:
- DEC in Computer Science, AEC in IT Support, or relevant training
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support at Level 2
- Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment
- Fluent in both French and English
- Advanced diagnostic skills beyond standard scripts, structured and methodical
- Ability to work in critical environments with elevated privileges, observing security best practices
- Exceptional documentation skills with clear, actionable procedures and detailed records
- Strong collaboration with first-line support for knowledge sharing and process improvement
- High professionalism, sense of priorities, and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Handle the resolution of complex technical issues, including hardware failures and critical software incidents
- Provide advanced technical support for software and systems: installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting beyond standard procedures
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of IT infrastructures
- Meticulously document interventions, detailing problems encountered, solutions implemented, and contributions to knowledge articles and procedures
- Work closely with the first-line support team to ensure effective incident escalation and continuous knowledge transfer
- Integrate within the IT operations team (administration, network, support, cybersecurity) and assist in clarifying roles, responsibilities, and commitments as discussed
- Create, maintain, and update the operations guide (playbook/runbooks) to standardize practices and enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure the application, monitoring, and compliance of software updates and security patches
Description

The role is primarily in-person at our office located at 3530, Boul. Des Entreprises, Terrebonne, QC, J6X 4J8, with potential remote work options based on current policies.
