Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or 4 years without a degree
- Proficient in debugging and understanding functional requirements
- Familiarity with software design and documentation
- Competence in unit testing
- Knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM)
- Experience with software integrated development environments (IDE)
- Skills in source code management and programming languages
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL is advantageous
- Familiarity with UI design using Angular or similar frameworks
- Problem-solving ability and teamwork aptitude
Responsibilities
- Code, debug, test, configure, and analyze application programs with moderate guidance
- Analyze both functional and technical requirements to draft detailed specifications
- Develop efficient code using various programming, scripting, or database languages
- Perform unit tests to ensure the functionality of applications
- Create technical documentation, including process and data flow diagrams
- Support the implementation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of applications
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives
- Train and mentor team members
- Lead continuous improvement efforts as needed
