Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field preferred
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience or 6 years without a degree
- Extensive hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls (specifically Palo Alto Networks and Panorama)
- Strong understanding of Aruba CX, AOS wireless, and ClearPass NAC
- Familiarity with cloud security and SASE solutions, particularly Netskope (ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and NPA) or equivalent
- Expertise in Layer 2/3 routing protocols and network security standards
- Proficient in IP addressing, VLAN configuration, and DNS/DHCP management
- Strong documentation capabilities and troubleshooting skills in both GUI and CLI environments
Responsibilities
- Independently design, plan, assess, and enhance complex network systems
- Establish, implement, and manage enterprise-grade routing, switching, and security infrastructure (Arista, Palo Alto, Aruba)
- Administer enterprise firewalls and segmentation policies in Palo Alto Networks environments using Panorama
- Support and maintain Netskope SASE solutions for secure cloud and remote access
- Diagnose and resolve intricate routing and switching issues (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, EVPN/VXLAN)
- Analyze network performance metrics to pinpoint improvement areas and suggest solutions
- Troubleshoot and independently resolve complicated network performance problems
- Collaborate with various business units to understand network needs and objectives
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including configurations and procedures
- Contribute to the establishment and execution of compliance standards and best practices
