Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise networking, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Proficient in switching technologies (Ethernet) and network management tools
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, including encryption and authentication methods (LDAP, SSO)
- Experience with VPNs (IPsec) and firewalls (Cisco ASA)
- Familiarity with cloud security practices
- Practical experience with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and related tools
- Competency in scripting for automation (PowerShell, Shell Scripting) and configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Background in supporting large-scale IT infrastructure environments, including databases (SQL, Oracle) and enterprise applications
- Understanding of telecommunication systems, including VoIP solutions and quality of service (QoS) configurations
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork
- Ability to thrive in an Agile work environment
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage LAN, WAN, VLANs, SAN, and IP networking architectures to meet organizational requirements
- Configure and maintain network devices, including Cisco routers, Juniper devices, and Cisco ASA firewalls
- Implement and support advanced security measures, including VPNs (IPsec, SSL), firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; conduct regular vulnerability assessments and troubleshoot network security issues
- Manage network infrastructure in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, including virtual networks and load balancers
- Automate network tasks utilizing scripting languages like Python and Bash, or tools such as Ansible
- Oversee system administration tasks related to operating systems, including Linux and Windows Server
- Support remote access solutions that leverage technologies like Remote access software and secure file transfer protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network installation, upgrades, capacity planning, and software development lifecycle processes
- Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and policies in alignment with ITIL standards
