Epic Software Developer

- Design, develop, and maintain Epic system integrations and interfaces to ensure dependable data exchange between Epic and third-party systems. - Manage system infrastructure, including servers, environments, and Epic-related databases, ensuring consistent uptime, performance, and security. - Conduct custom development within Epics technical frameworks to fulfill client-specific needs not addressed by standard configurations. - Assist in executing Epic upgrade processes, covering environment preparation, testing, and validation post-upgrade. - Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues across integration layers, reporting environments, and database systems, especially during critical go-live periods. - Ensure the systems scalability and compliance with security protocols, collaborating with client IT and security teams. - Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Epic Clarity and Caboodle to aid operational and clinical decision-making. - Work in partnership with Epic Applications Analysts and Project Managers to ensure technical solutions meet clinical workflow and project specifications. - Document all technical specifications, integration designs, and custom development tasks for future maintainability and knowledge sharing.
