Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering preferred
- Strong knowledge in cloud engineering and AWS services like S3, SQS, and Lambda
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java (Spring Boot)
- Familiarity with Extreme Programming (XP) methodologies, including test-driven development and pair programming
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for creating high-quality, customer-focused solutions
- Experience with developer productivity tools like GitHub Copilot
- Understanding of observability practices, including logging and metrics
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services and cloud-native applications using AWS, Python, and Java Spring Boot
- Utilize XP practices such as Test-Driven Development to guarantee code reliability
- Engage in Pair Programming to enhance collaboration and code quality
- Maintain Continuous Integration for swift feedback and stable software builds
- Execute frequent releases to provide incremental value and adapt to changes
- Work with cross-functional teams to grasp user requirements and deliver valuable features
- Develop event-driven and serverless architectures utilizing AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and S3
- Use GitHub Copilot to streamline development processes
- Adopt observability best practices to ensure system reliability and performance
- Conduct design and code reviews to foster ongoing development improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges focusing on system reliability and performance
- Uphold high software quality standards through documentation, testing, and code compliance
