Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Proficient in AWS services including S3, SQS, and Lambda
- Solid programming abilities in Python and Java (Spring Boot)
- Familiar with Extreme Programming (XP) methodologies like Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Effective communication skills with a strong product-oriented approach
- Knowledge of GitHub Copilot and observability practices is a plus
- Strong understanding of cloud engineering and backend development
- Experience in collaborative teamwork across different functions

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services and cloud-native applications utilizing AWS, Python, and Java Spring Boot
- Employ XP practices such as:
- Test-Driven Development (TDD) for code reliability and maintainability
- Pair Programming to enhance collaboration and code quality
- Continuous Integration (CI) for quick feedback and stable builds
- Frequent releases to provide incremental value and adapt swiftly to changes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and create impactful features
- Develop event-driven and serverless architectures using AWS tools like Lambda, SQS, and S3
- Utilize GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and minimize repetitive coding
- Establish and uphold observability best practices including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing for system reliability and performance
- Engage in design reviews, code assessments, and retrospectives to refine development processes
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, prioritizing reliability and performance
- Ensure high standards of software quality through comprehensive documentation, testing, and adherence to coding standards
