Requirements
Must:
- Disciplined approach to enforcing engineering best practices.
- Proven track record of enhancing availability while minimizing MTTR.
- Considerable experience in frontline support for critical incidents.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms like Apigee, Kafka, or TIBCO.
- Proficient in using observability tools such as DataDog to develop dashboards and diagnose issues.
- Technical expertise in distributed computing, hybrid cloud environments, and infrastructure support.
- Proactive in identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong communication skills to engage with all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple issues simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to enhance service reliability and improve user experience.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage for incident response through effective on-call management.
- Address incidents, carry out in-depth post-mortems, and implement preventive strategies to avert future problems.
- Promote automation to minimize manual tasks and elevate delivery quality.
- Provide mentorship to engineers on technology and best practices in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Develop strategic initiatives to expand the Site Reliability practice.
- Offer coaching and guidance to a global team.
