Requirements
Must:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in cloud technologies and infrastructure engineering.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Management Groups, Policies, Regions, Availability Zones, VNets, Private Endpoints, and Express Route.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Azure Cloud Services.
- Familiarity with GCP services including Compute, IAM, Networking, and image management.
- Strong background in both Infrastructure Engineering and Operations with application knowledge.
- Proven experience in test-driven development and continuous delivery processes.
- Proficiency in producing efficient and effective relevant changes in infrastructure and operational processes.
- Ability to mentor others in engineering practices such as extreme programming and infrastructure as code.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify innovative solutions for technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, manage, and operate the infrastructure and application environments, focusing on automation and infrastructure as code.
- Lead the team in implementing engineering practices centered around test-driven development and continuous delivery.
- Oversee the development and management of the continuous delivery framework and associated tools.
- Implement and manage an infrastructure as a service layer that supports various platform services.
- Create comprehensive monitoring solutions for visibility of platform components utilizing tools such as Datadog, New Relic, and Azure Monitor.
- Develop a logging-as-a-service solution utilizing open-source resources for hosted applications.
- Integrate varied components and create new services with an emphasis on open-source to streamline developer interactions with platforms.
- Assess performance trends and plan for scalability in line with expected demand.
- Troubleshoot performance and availability issues across all layers of deployment.
- Recommend and uphold technology-related policies and procedures.
