IT Infrastructure Consultant - Remote

- Drive incident trending and analysis across diverse technologies to identify potential issues and recommend resolutions. - Ensure smooth execution of daily procedural tasks, including providing recovery support to Operations and status updates to various support teams based on established documentation. - Validate operational security for relevant tools and processes through reporting and communication of any security breaches. - Oversee the implementation of both technical and administrative changes. - Plan and coordinate tasks to develop metrics and reporting solutions that enhance infrastructure service delivery, covering requirement definitions, scripting/programming, and testing. - Manage tasks required to integrate new or revised critical applications with operational support tools for automated monitoring and alerting, encompassing requirement definitions, documentation, communication for escalation, coordination of scripting/programming, and testing. - Maintain a strong focus on high availability incidents, particularly those affecting user experience and multiple applications, guiding them to resolution while keeping leadership informed about status updates. - Lead efforts to identify root causes of incidents and communicate preventive recommendations to key stakeholders. - Oversee the planning and management of tasks related to creating, modifying, and implementing automation solutions for infrastructure production control processing monitoring and alerting, including requirement definition, scripting/programming, and testing.
