Enterprise Software Developer

- Architect and design innovative digital solutions using contemporary tools, software technologies, frameworks, and systems, such as Java and Python for Machine Learning and generative AI applications relevant to the insurance sector. - Develop and set up DevOps and cloud-based tools, including Jenkins, Azure, AI Foundry, AI Search, AWS, AWS Bedrock, and Amazon Connect. - Implement a systematic application of scientific and technological expertise to the design, execution, testing, and documentation of software to automate and improve insurance processes utilizing generative AI and machine learning capabilities, employing patterns like RAG. - Create and sustain traditional, non-AI microservice applications tailored to the insurance industry. - Manage operational applications in production, ensuring successful launches of digital products while meeting specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), particularly AI-based KPIs measuring AI output precision in comparison to human results and time savings. - Engage in product scoping, discovery, and inception phases, providing technical insights and assisting in translating user features into system designs for client-facing portals, AI insights, services, and essential backend insurance applications. - Utilize retrieval augmented generation, client-server architecture, pub-sub architecture (Kafka), microservices architecture, and REST frameworks. - Lead daily site, cross-site, and product team stand-up meetings, influencing the architecture and design of products. - Collaborate to align strategies across product portfolios in partnership with product managers, colleagues, and stakeholders. - Act as a subject matter expert across multiple technology stacks. - Mentor the team and oversee daily practices of paired programming and test-driven development for software development and product creation. - Set up continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment practices using Jenkins, Git, linters, Kubernetes, and other CICD tools.
