Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Python or Java preferred)
- Proven experience in designing and constructing secure APIs or services
- Practical understanding of secure coding standards and common vulnerabilities in applications
- Familiarity with IAM and authentication frameworks (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT)
- Experience contributing to or working with CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain production-level security services, APIs, and automation tools
- Create internal tools and integrations that enhance incident response and cybersecurity operations
- Manage security tools as software products, ensuring they are versioned, tested, monitored, and maintained
- Design secure APIs adhering to authentication and authorization guidelines (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT)
- Implement secure software design principles such as least privilege access, effective secrets management, and defense-in-depth strategies
- Appropriately apply cryptographic techniques (hashing, encryption, key management via managed services)
- Integrate security measures and validations within CI/CD processes
- Develop automation solutions that connect cloud services, security tools, and internal systems
- Collaborate with cloud and platform teams to guarantee scalability, resilience, and security of solutions
- Work closely with incident response, threat intelligence, and SOC teams to identify opportunities for automation
- Enhance incident response consistency and efficiency through repeatable and reliable automation mechanisms
- Engage in post-incident reviews, translating lessons learned into system improvements
