Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree required
- Over 8 years of professional experience in software development, preferably with a focus on microservices
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot with a deep understanding of design patterns and code quality standards
- Experience in architecting and implementing large-scale distributed systems and microservices
- Familiarity with Python for developing AI-driven services
- Strong grasp of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and database security practices
- Knowledgeable in designing and managing REST APIs, including documentation and testing
- Expert in relational databases like MS SQL Server and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Capable of leading and managing engineering teams and fostering their professional growth
- Hands-on competence in agile methodologies, including experience with Extreme Programming
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders across the organization
- Familiar with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a global engineering team, managing recruitment, onboarding, and career progression
- Conduct agile ceremonies and collaborate with product managers to align technological solutions with product goals
- Actively participate in software development, writing and reviewing code to ensure quality and security
- Design and architect secure, scalable products focusing on Large Language Models and AI technologies
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to align engineering strategies with business objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Generative AI and foster a culture of innovation within the company
- Drive performance metrics and ensure the success of digital products in a production environment
- Mentor engineering staff through regular coaching and performance evaluations
