Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of pertinent experience in product management, ownership, or business analysis within an agile setting
- Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO)
- Strong communication skills with engineers
- Experience in training, onboarding, and supporting technical teams
- Familiarity with construction documents, product specifications, and industry norms
- Capability to analyze market trends and devise strategies for U.S. market expansion
Responsibilities
- Provide vision and guidance to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project while creating requirements
- Ensure the team consistently has a sufficient amount of prepared tasks to work on
- Strategize and prioritize product feature backlog, iteration planning, and author user stories for the product
- Define product vision, roadmap, and opportunities for growth
- Evaluate value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to focus on high-value work aligned with product strategy
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to create and maintain requirements based on business value or ROI
- Lead the planning of product release strategies and establish expectations for the delivery of new functionalities
- Take an active role in addressing impediments affecting the successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and investigate market trends and industry needs
- Monitor competitors and industry movements
- Outline protocols regarding data entry into our applications
- Comprehend construction documents and blueprints
- Partner with industry experts to simplify complex product data
- Exhibit leadership skills that uphold the standards of our applications
- Stay updated on Agile/Scrum best practices and emerging trends
- Develop onboarding plans for New Building Product Manufacturers
- Assist in onboarding new customers, ensuring they grasp product functionality and best practices for implementation
- Support the Specifications Team by leveraging expertise in plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC design
- Conduct product training and onboarding for internal teams and clients, ensuring comprehensive understanding of product applications and specifications
- Utilize strong communication abilities, particularly in engaging with engineers, to foster relationships and provide technical direction
- Actively contribute to driving U.S. market volume growth through targeted outreach and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders
- Participate in product development, offering feedback on technical feasibility, usability, and market alignment
- Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to fine-tune product features and ensure they meet industry requirements
- Assist in creating technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for new product launches
- Engage in beta testing and validation of new product features to ensure quality and functionality
