Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, including at least 3 years in a Level 2 or equivalent position. It is essential to have proven experience with engineering and CAD applications such as Civil 3D and Bentley. A solid technical understanding of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, M365, and Azure is required. Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) setting supporting multiple clients is a plus. Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls), along with excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills, is also necessary. Experience using RMM and PSA tools like ConnectWise, N-Central, or Autotask is preferred. We value candidates who can quickly learn and adopt AI-based support tools and automation solutions.
Responsibilities
As a High Level 2 or Level 3 Support Engineer, you will serve as the main subject matter expert for civil and structural engineering applications. You will provide extensive user training and education for engineering teams on essential applications including AASHTOWare, AutoDesk Civil 3D, Bentley Systems applications (MicroStation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise), Deltek Vision, MDX, Midas, and Bluebeam Revu. You will create customized training materials and lead knowledge transfer sessions to enhance software usage. Your role will also involve offering timely and professional end-user support, prioritizing and resolving incoming Help Desk requests related to hardware, software, mobile devices, and network connectivity. You'll document support tickets accurately and provide onsite assistance when necessary. Additionally, you will utilize AI tools and automation to enhance ticket resolution and improve workflow efficiency.

This position is a full-time opportunity with a salary range of $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year. Benefits include a 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. We offer a hybrid remote work environment based in Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.
