Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Sage 300 with a deep understanding of its functionalities and modules.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including VBA, Power Query, and automation of processes.
- Experience with SQL Server, capable of writing queries and optimizing performance.
- Skilled in creating and customizing reports using Crystal Reports.
- Familiarity with VBA development for task automation and interactions with Sage 300.
- Competence in SQL scripting for data extraction and transformation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a mindset for analysis and effective solutions.
- Demonstrated project management skills, managing multiple tasks and requests concurrently.
- Strong understanding of business needs to adapt tools and reports accordingly.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities for tracking and documenting tasks.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical solutions clearly to users.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve user-reported issues in Sage 300.
- Analyze error messages and propose suitable resolutions.
- Provide technical and functional assistance to users.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Sage support to address complex challenges.
- Document frequent issues and their solutions for future reference.
- Design and modify custom reports in Crystal Reports for Sage 300.
- Adapt print templates for invoices, purchase orders, and financial statements.
- Enhance report layout and performance for better usability.
- Conduct testing and validation of changes prior to deployment.
- Identify and rectify issues within existing VBA applications and macros.
- Improve performance and reliability of current tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to modifications and fixes.
- Create and develop custom tools to enhance Sage 300 functionalities.
- Automate manual processes with VBA macros, SQL scripts, or web applications.
- Integrate Sage 300 with other business software like BI and CRM systems.
- Test and validate new applications before their launch into production.
- Develop business-specific reports and update existing ones for optimization.
- Extract and structure data from SQL Server to be used in reports.
- Ensure precise data import and integration with Sage 300.
- Perform quality assurance checks on data after uploads.
