Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible technical experience in an IT infrastructure role.
- Familiarity with best practices in enterprise network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of network architecture strategies and the ability to create sustainable networking environments.
- Cisco CCNP (Collaboration and/or Routing & Switching), Citrix CCA, and VMware VCP certifications preferred.
- Cisco CCNA (Collaboration and/or Routing & Switching) certification is a plus.
- Experience with legacy collaboration systems (Nortel, Avaya, NEC, Mitel, etc.) is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VOIP).
- Configure and set up software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
- Develop, supervise, and assess security measures, including access authentication and disaster recovery strategies.
- Create and put in place functional network and voice infrastructure.
- Guide and coach a team of engineers in troubleshooting and enhancing our networks for users.
- Advise and inform management about the significance and effects of networking concerns.
- Work collaboratively with end users to pinpoint needs and potential improvements in data access and delivery.
- Partner with IS Leadership to set and carry out network infrastructure goals.
- Design network structures that are scalable, compatible, and agile.
- Maximize the potential of existing infrastructure, tools, assets, and resources.
- Oversee the continuous development and operation of network management systems to ensure their reliability and performance.
- Innovate enterprise connectivity and services to guarantee data communication reliability and security for clinical and administrative functions.
- Stay updated with industry trends in network infrastructure and security.
