Requirements

- Proven background in IT support, help desk, or desktop support positions. - Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. - Familiarity with VPN, firewall, LAN, and basic networking concepts. - Experience with support tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy is preferred. - Proficient in troubleshooting software issues and resolving hardware problems. - Knowledge of computer hardware components and maintenance practices. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to non-technical users. - Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Desirable skills include experience with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Linux environments. Responsibilities

- Provide technical assistance for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. - Quickly troubleshoot and address hardware, software, and network issues. - Assist users with VPN setup, configuration, and connectivity challenges. - Manage service requests using platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or other ticketing systems. - Support network infrastructure, including LAN configurations and firewall settings. - Conduct troubleshooting for applications like Microsoft Office and other enterprise tools. - Document support activities and solutions for future reference. - Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution. - Assist in managing computer hardware inventory and upgrades. - Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly communicating with end-users and stakeholders.
