Senior Windows Administrator

- Oversee the entire systems infrastructure, including engineering, implementation, integration, and technical support - Design, implement, install, maintain, and manage infrastructure across various hardware and software configurations - Monitor system performance to proactively identify and address potential issues - Conduct root cause analysis on system failures and implement corrective actions - Collaborate with team members to enhance and refine processes and procedures - Operate with minimal supervision and address complex issues, escalating only the most challenging problems - Serve as a lead when necessary - Support both virtual and physical workstation and server setups - Handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and security hardening in classified and unclassified network settings - Manage Windows 10 (or newer) workstations and Windows Server 2019 environments - Assist in the virtualization of Windows systems utilizing VMware ESXi - Provide support for ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts - Administer Active Directory environments - Monitor critical system metrics such as disk space, utilization, capacity, and overall availability - Aid ISSOs in enforcing and maintaining cybersecurity standards, including NIST and RMF C&A requirements - Create and manage user accounts, and install/ configure hardware and software - Execute system backup and recovery operations - Enforce network security measures in alignment with DoD standards - Maintain qualifications mandated by the Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) framework for Privileged Access Administrator (PAA) roles
