Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Over 8 years of experience in a leadership role designing and implementing Salesforce solutions. - Expert-level expertise in the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform itself. - Strong skill set in Salesforce development technologies with extensive hands-on experience with both Lightning Web Components (LWC) and legacy Aura UI components. - In-depth knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL. - Strong grasp of Salesforce security features, data models, and sharing mechanisms. - Proven track record with systems integration, ETL tools, and API design. - Familiarity with development lifecycle and deployment methodologies such as CI/CD and DevOps. - Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and communication capabilities. - Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Certified System Architect credentials are a significant advantage. - Previous experience with FDA is a plus. - Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or a roadmap to achieving this certification is desired. - Experience with specific Salesforce clouds (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Health Cloud, Financial Services Cloud) is preferred. - Background in an Agile development environment is beneficial. - Knowledge of additional programming languages and enterprise architecture frameworks is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Lead the complete architectural design for large-scale Salesforce implementations, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable. - Oversee the implementation of Salesforce applications, including the development of new objects, Lightning components, process flows, dashboards, and other Salesforce out-of-the-box features. - Understand best practices for role-based security implementation using permission sets and other Salesforce features. - Create and document detailed solution architectures, including system landscape diagrams, data models, integration patterns, and security frameworks. - Assess business needs and determine the optimal use of the Salesforce platform, incorporating both declarative configuration and custom development. - Make strategic architectural decisions and provide technical oversight across all Salesforce initiatives. - Act as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform. - Offer technical coaching, mentorship, and leadership to a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and consultants. - Establish and uphold best practices for development processes, code reviews, release management, and data governance. - Design development solutions for both existing and new Salesforce applications, including knowledge of Aura, Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce components. - Conduct technical assessments and lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to delineate project scope and technical specifications. - Formulate and manage complex integrations between Salesforce and various internal and external business systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, e-commerce platforms). - Define strategies for data migration while ensuring data integrity and quality. - Utilize and recommend suitable integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Salesforce APIs, and other middleware). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, and IT leadership, to align technical solutions with business goals. - Convert complex technical information into comprehensible terminology for diverse audiences, ranging from developers to C-level executives. - Present solution designs, roadmaps, and project updates to key stakeholders. - Contribute to the long-term Salesforce strategy and roadmap by identifying opportunities for platform enhancement, innovation, and digital transformation. - Remain informed about the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices. - Proactively identify and resolve potential performance, security, and scalability challenges.
