Jamf Systems Administrator

- Oversee the systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation, integration, and technical support - Design, implement, install, maintain, and manage infrastructures involving hardware, software, and various configurations - Monitor performance to identify potential issues proactively and tune systems accordingly - Perform root cause analysis on failures and implement corrective actions - Collaborate with team members to establish and enhance processes and procedures - Integrate Apple device management systems (Jamf Pro or equivalent) into government enterprise infrastructure - Create, deploy, and administer macOS installation images and application packages using Jamf - Provision and manage Mac systems, including configuration of storage, backup, and restoration - Administer compliance and configuration baselines for Apple devices - Resolve advanced end-user issues involving macOS and iOS devices - Collaborate with system administrators to ensure alignment of Apple infrastructure with enterprise standards - Provide architectural guidance for Apple platform integration in DoD environments - Support Linux systems integration as needed - Maintain accurate configuration documentation and implementation processes - Mentor and train Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support specialists in Apple infrastructure best practices - Interface with senior government personnel for technical updates and recommendations - Develop and manage technical documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures - Continuously enhance Apple infrastructure standards and lifecycle management processes - Ensure compliance with required qualifications under the Cybersecurity Workforce framework for Privileged Access Administrator roles - Configure Apple systems according to DoD security policies and requirements
