Requirements
Must:
- Postsecondary degree in aircraft maintenance
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in aviation (as a technician, methods manager, or technical writer)
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structures and systems
- Understanding of technical modification factors and configuration management relevant to AMP
- Proficiency in CATIA, S1000D, SAP, and Google Suite
- Good computer skills and able to read and interpret technical documentation, including plans
- Quick learner, able to adapt to new tools or technologies as required
- Committed team player, responsible, with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with technical documentation processes and technologies
- Good knowledge of SGML and XML markup languages
- Ability to manage stress and collaborate with different departments to meet deadlines
- Demonstrates discernment, leadership qualities, and a team-oriented mindset
- Customer-focused and proficient in both French and English (verbal and written)
Responsibilities
- Conduct research, plan, write, and revise the Aircraft Maintenance Publication (AMP) related to the structural chapters
- Interpret all engineering documentation that justifies changes to the AMP and CMP
- Write and revise maintenance procedures in line with the scope of technical modifications
- Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) of Data Modules (DM) submitted by suppliers for publication integration
- Execute On Aircraft Validation (OAV) of new AMP tasks and measure execution timing
- Validate and integrate on-aircraft validation feedback per departmental standards
- Review technical documentation for publication integration
- Analyze requests from customers and operators, coordinating with the Customer Response Center (CRC) and engineering team
- Define, maintain, and coordinate the Data Module Requirements List (DMRL) with internal and external suppliers
- Identify and implement product improvement processes aligned with the strategic plan
- Support the definition of action plans and timelines to minimize risks associated with publication completion
- Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure AMP tasks comply with released engineering specifications
