Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in structural dynamics, loads, or vibrations.
- Proficient in using Nastran SOL 101, 103, 111, 144, 145 and familiar with DMAP alterations.
- Strong understanding of finite element methods, frequency-based analysis, and unsteady aerodynamics.
- Familiar with relevant industry regulations, certification standards, and guidelines.
- Team-oriented, with initiative, strong responsibility, and sound judgment under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with an interest in process improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Strong writing and communication abilities; proficiency in technical English writing is advantageous.
- Programming expertise in MATLAB, Fortran, C/C++, and Linux/Windows scripting.
- Intermediate to advanced documentation skills using software like Microsoft Office Suite or GSuite.
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and data acquisition is a plus.
- Current or former Design Approval Designee in Dynamics disciplines is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and execute computer programs for aeroelastic calculations.
- Participate in tests to support and assess new development, production, and in-service challenges.
- Analyze test data and correlate finite element models to evaluate, test, and propose engineering solutions.
- Create formal documentation to present results and meet the requirements of certification authorities and internal clients.
