Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years experience with SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL scripting and query optimization skills
- Proven expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for business intelligence extraction
- Proficient in Power BI Desktop and Service: capable of designing, developing, and publishing reports and dashboards
- Strong ability to create complex semantic data models, including advanced DAX formulas for calculated fields
- Experience delivering reports to end users and configuring Power BI Apps and refresh protocols
- Familiarity with Power BI Parameters, Slicers, Filters, and other interactive components
- Solid understanding of Power BI Security and row-level security testing with different roles and users
- Extensive knowledge of Power BI Service, including data acquisition, modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization methodologies
- Demonstrated capability in building interactive dashboards and reports tailored to diverse user preferences
- Hands-on experience with PowerApps to develop applications that automate workflows and enhance business operations
- Understanding of PowerApps connectors for varied data source integration
- Experience utilizing Power Automate for workflow automation, connecting Power BI and PowerApps
- Skills in managing data gateways for linking Power BI and PowerApps to on-premises data
- Knowledge of best practices in data security and governance for Power BI and PowerApps implementations
Responsibilities
- Leverage Power BI Service to interface with various data sources, model data, and generate interactive dashboards and reports
- Craft tailored visuals and dashboards that convey critical performance indicators and business metrics
- Create intuitive canvas and model-driven PowerApps applications to streamline workflows and increase operational effectiveness
- Seamlessly integrate Power BI reports and dashboards within PowerApps for a cohesive user experience
- Engage with business stakeholders to ascertain their requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions
- Assist in the formulation and execution of data governance and security protocols for Power BI and PowerApps environments
- Keep abreast of the latest developments and features in Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform
