Requirements
Must:
- We need a Senior iOS Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience building and releasing production iOS apps.
- Strong command of Swift, with deep hands-on experience in UIKit and practical production experience with SwiftUI.
- Proven ability to design and sustain scalable iOS architectures such as MVVM, TCA, or VIPER in large codebases.
- Solid understanding of iOS concurrency and performance topics, including async/await, GCD, and memory management.
- Experience working with networked APIs from iOS clients, including robust error handling and performance awareness.
- Strong grasp of core iOS fundamentals, including app lifecycle, view rendering, Auto Layout, accessibility, and localization.
- Experience owning features from technical design through implementation, testing, and App Store release.
- Upper-intermediate English communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US; we are unable to sponsor or transfer employment visa sponsorship at this time.
- Candidates must be located in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- We design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS features that support consumer-facing experiences.
- We collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape product direction, clarify requirements, and turn ideas into polished iOS solutions.
- We own iOS features end-to-end, from technical planning and implementation through testing, release, and ongoing iteration.
- We help shape and improve our iOS architecture and engineering standards, balancing maintainability with fast product delivery.
- We use AI-assisted development tools and workflows to increase productivity, improve code quality, and enhance the developer experience.
- We share best practices, tooling, and lessons learned to help strengthen our teams approach to AI usage.
- We mentor other iOS engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical support.
