Senior Backend Engineer

- We require candidates to be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; we are unable to provide or transfer visa sponsorship at this time. - We are seeking someone with 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience in Kotlin. - We need 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud environments, ideally AWS, including deployment and monitoring. - We are looking for a professional who can independently lead initiatives and deliver production-ready systems end to end. - We value exposure to secure API design, distributed architectures, and microservices-based systems. - We expect familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and observability platforms such as Datadog or Prometheus is preferred. - We are looking for excellent communication skills and a collaborative, inclusive approach to teamwork. - We require upper-intermediate English proficiency. - We are hiring for candidates located in Austin, TX only, with a hybrid remote arrangement.
