Senior Android Engineer

- We require candidates to be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; we cannot provide or transfer visa sponsorship at this time. - We are seeking a senior-level Android engineer with 5+ years of experience building and releasing production Android applications. - We need strong proficiency in Kotlin and hands-on experience with modern Android development practices. - We expect experience creating user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and/or XML-based layouts. - We look for proven ability to design and sustain Android architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture in medium to large codebases. - We require solid knowledge of Android fundamentals, including activity and fragment lifecycles, threading, performance, and memory management. - We need experience integrating and consuming network APIs from Android clients, including error handling and offline-first considerations. - We expect demonstrated ownership of Android features from technical design through implementation, testing, and release. - We value excellent communication skills and a collaborative, inclusive working style. - We require upper-intermediate English proficiency. - We are hiring for a remote role, and candidates must be located in Austin, TX.
