Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SharePoint administration and migration
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex custom solutions in SharePoint Online using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate
- Proven track record of migrating complex SharePoint environments from on-premises to SharePoint Online
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online features and capabilities
- Experience with migration tools
- Expertise in migrating custom applications
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, security, and governance
- Familiarity with Azure Entra ID
- Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Familiarity with modern SharePoint frameworks and development
Responsibilities
- Lead the redesign and enhancement of intricate, custom-built team sites within SharePoint Online, focusing on contemporary SharePoint experiences
- Create, develop, and implement robust solutions utilizing SharePoint and Power Platform to design dynamic, user-centric interfaces for custom business processes
- Automate workflows and integrate systems through Power Automate to improve operations and efficiency within the new SharePoint Online ecosystem
- Collaborate with business analysts to convert requirements into efficient, scalable solutions in SharePoint Online and Power Platform
- Ensure that all new custom solutions follow best practices regarding performance, security, and maintainability
- Conduct a thorough evaluation of our existing on-premises SharePoint setup, including team sites, publishing sites, custom applications, and data
- Formulate a comprehensive migration strategy, detailing timelines, resources, and potential risks
- Execute the migration of SharePoint content, encompassing lists, libraries, pages, and workflows to SharePoint Online
- Migrate and configure custom applications to ensure they work seamlessly with the SharePoint Online environment
- Apply appropriate migration tools and techniques to maintain data integrity and minimize downtime
- Tackle and resolve any issues or errors related to migration
- Perform exhaustive testing of the migrated environment to confirm functionality, performance, and data accuracy
- Validate the migration against established requirements and user acceptance standards
- Document migration procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting processes
- Provide training and support for end-users on the new SharePoint Online environment
- Create user documentation and guides
- Address user questions and resolve any post-migration issues
- Design, develop, and deploy custom SPFx web parts, application extensions, and solutions specifically for modern SharePoint Online publishing sites
- Enhance site functionality and user experience by developing responsive, accessible, and maintainable SPFx components
- Integrate SPFx solutions with Power Platform components, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and additional enterprise systems as necessary
- Ensure that all SPFx solutions conform to governance standards, security requirements, and modern SharePoint best practices
