Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience in multi-site organizations, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven experience in directing IT security functions and ensuring compliance with the NIST framework.
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
- Strong leadership, team development, and personnel management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and adhering to deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and evaluative skills.
- Capability to translate IT strategy into practical plans and measurable outcomes.
- Technical expertise in IT security, including familiarity with Windows 11, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and various cybersecurity tools.
- Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, CISSP, ITIL Foundation, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
Responsibilities
- Oversee our outsourced Help Desk to ensure outstanding, responsive service.
- Monitor SLAs, track KPIs, analyze trends, and guarantee user satisfaction across all AgeCare locations.
- Develop, implement, and enhance IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate initiatives led by vendors and ensure the seamless delivery of system modifications, upgrades, and support projects.
- Contribute to our technology roadmap, with a focus on modernization, security, and an optimal user experience.
- Manage daily IT operations and the security infrastructure safeguarding our digital assets, including firewalls and endpoint protection.
- Oversee IT support budgets, assets, and vendor contracts focusing on value, performance, and sustainability.
- Promote systems and practices that allow for secure, high-quality care delivery for both residents and staff.
- Design and implement cybersecurity policies, training, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with SOC and managed service providers to monitor network and endpoint activity.
- Supervise contracted services to guarantee robust defense and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery readiness exercises.
- Partner with internal leaders and external vendors to proactively identify and address security risks.
