Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM or related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience leading technical teams and managing complex modeling and analysis tasks for the Senior Member of Technical Staff role.
- Proven expertise in modeling, simulation, and analysis within space systems.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside regular hours to accommodate customer requirements (approximately 5-10% as needed).
- Possession of a current and active TS/SCI clearance issued by the U.S. government; U.S. citizenship is necessary for security clearance.
- For the Engineering Specialist role: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in similar responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Independently conduct modeling and analysis studies of MW/MT/MD sensing systems, focusing on target tracking performance across system-of-systems architectures.
- Collaborate with team members to undertake systems engineering studies, evaluating trade-offs to optimize system performance.
- Design strategies for modeling, simulation, and analysis utilizing various tools including in-house and commercially available software.
- Create innovative performance metrics and evaluate sensor performance for technologies such as EO, radar, and passive RF.
- Develop and apply tracking and data-fusion algorithms to enhance performance for radar, lidar, and other related sensors.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve existing modeling and simulation tools.
- Generate novel simulation methodologies and tools to support interdisciplinary analyses.
