Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, or technical science from an accredited institution.
- At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering or scientific roles, ideally with operational experience in relevant systems or systems engineering.
- Background in systems engineering or test evaluation for Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Civil satellite systems.
- Proficient in EW, SATCOM, or RF systems, with knowledge of techniques like anti-jamming and key variables in SATCOM/RF sensor link budgets.
- Understanding of satellite operations, missions, and the needs of associated programs.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical analyses and team management.
- Experience collaborating with government stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work or client meetings.
- Active Top Secret SCI security clearance required; eligibility for SAP/SAR is also necessary and must be a U.S. citizen.
Responsibilities
- Provide advisory services to various military and governmental customers on technical and analytical methodologies, force design, and systems engineering.
- Deliver technical expertise in electromagnetic warfare and SATCOM RF operations.
- Offer systems engineering support, including requirements gathering, concept evaluation, design review, integration, and testing support.
- Provide guidance for identifying and testing enhancements to EW architectures.
- Conduct link budget analysis across multiple frequencies, satellites, and ground systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify challenges and propose solutions across space missions and programs.
- Liaise with government entities like the US Space Force and relevant intelligence partners.
- Assemble expert teams from Aerospace to address critical technical challenges through data-informed analysis.
- Work effectively within integrated teams comprising government, contractor, and FFRDC personnel.
- Communicate timely and effectively to all corporate management levels about technical matters and recommendations.
