Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, computer science, or related technical discipline
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible engineering experience
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes, project management, risk management, and relevant standards
- Capability to collaborate with senior government management
- Experience in a dynamic Program Office environment, engaging with government, FFRDC, and SETA personnel
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately 10% to 15%
- Must hold a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph from the US government; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a team to support the research and development of small satellites from initial concept to operational phase
- Delivering customized mission assurance support for demonstration systems within a national security space research environment
- Leading projects in partnership with a diverse technical team to provide end-to-end engineering assistance to clients; tasks include in-depth mission analyses, design evaluations, performance modeling, and risk assessments
- Overseeing Aerospaces support during launch phases and initial operations
- Offering technical and programmatic insights to facilitate successful program execution
