Requirements
Must:
- Masters or Ph.D. degree in Remote Sensing, Imaging Science, Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics, Atmospheric Science, Computer Science, Optical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field obtained within the last 12 months.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficient in scientific programming using at least one of the following: Python, C++, Matlab, IDL, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Submission of transcripts is required.
Responsibilities
- Utilize SMSD and COTS analysis tools for various applications like image chain modeling, scene simulation, and change detection.
- Implement best practices in modeling and simulation software development to enhance existing capabilities.
- Provide guidance to internal Aerospace clients regarding operational and R&D remote sensing system performance.
- Conduct, document, and present the results of studies to support decision-making processes.
- Adapt to changing duties, responsibilities, and tasks as necessitated.
- Participate in training and mentorship programs.
