Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences, or a comparable combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, program management, or technical fields
- Proven capability to assemble and lead teams effectively
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic Program Office setting with a mix of government, FFRDC, and SETA personnel
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including experience in presenting and documenting technical information
- Willingness to travel (10-25%)
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with SAP eligibility, requiring U.S. citizenship
- Demonstrated experience in Aerospaces Leadership Competency Model: leading change, strategic operation, fostering innovation, achieving results, and impactful engagement
Responsibilities
- Assist in program reviews, and support design, development, testing, and transition to operations
- Serve as the principal technical representative supporting the Program Manager (O-5)
- Understand and ensure the implementation of system design requirements and mission concepts
- Provide mission assurance support and assist in integration efforts
- Observe critical testing activities, ensuring adherence to established procedures and plans
- Assist in integration and test anomaly investigations, contributing expertise to safeguard schedule, budget, and hardware
- Identify risk factors and develop mitigation strategies to achieve mission goals
- Represent Space Rapid Capabilities Office (SpRCO) interests in Aerospace backplane communications
- Collaborate with subject matter experts from the Aerospace Engineering Technical Group (ETG) on critical challenges
- Work alongside a diverse team of military personnel, government civilians, prime contractors, systems engineering and integration (SE&I) contractors, FFRDCs, and National Laboratories
