Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or a relevant technical field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
- At least twelve (12) years of professional engineering experience with progressive responsibilities in engineering, technical, or strategic planning roles
- Proven record of success in multi-disciplinary resilient systems engineering and/or program management
- Established successful leadership in mission-level analysis and architecture activities
- Strong demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate technical efforts across various disciplines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, as mandated by the U.S. government; U.S. citizenship is necessary to secure a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the spokesperson for the systems engineering team and lead the integration of all resilient satellite systems engineering efforts within the Resiliency Futures Office (RFO), covering all program phases
- Oversee the systems engineering teams diverse portfolio of major multi-disciplinary projects, accommodating a range of maturity levels and life cycle stages
- Develop strategic plans and frameworks for the advancement and maturation of essential corporate and industry technologies for next-generation resilient space and ground systems
- Collaborate with government and industry partners to address emerging policy or procurement issues that may impact the integration of resilient capabilities into the space enterprise
- Identify and seek new opportunities for Aerospace prototyping and risk reduction in technology
- Assemble and manage teams of program office staff and experts to evaluate and guide new developments or resolve challenges in critical technology sectors
- Mentor team members to enhance leadership skills, strategic acumen, and systems engineering knowledge.
