Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics - Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience - Current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph issued by the US government; U.S. citizenship is necessary for clearance - Expertise in the development and delivery of remote sensing systems and subsystems - Leadership experience in Optical, Electrical, and Mechanical manufacturing processes - Proficient in risk management processes, including communication, mitigation, and adjudication of risk - Experience in defining and customizing Mission Assurance Standards - Knowledge of supplier oversight, source inspection, and requirements verification - Familiarity with the practices of traditional Mission Assurance disciplines - Proven track record of leading high-profile, quick turn-around tasks as a team leader - Willingness to travel approximately 25-50%

Responsibilities

- Provide technical leadership across the program for traditional Mission Assurance disciplines, including PMP, hardware and software quality, reliability, and systems safety - Continuously monitor the supply chain throughout the programs lifecycle to ensure compliance with Mission Assurance requirements and risk management processes - Collaborate on solutions for issues affecting multiple programs - Establish baseline Mission Assurance Standards for next generation systems - Articulate and present positions on technical issues, brief directors and segment leads on critical topics - Effectively direct Aerospaces Engineering and Technology resources to support program needs - Deliver briefings and technical insights to senior leadership at Aerospace - Travel to contractor and subcontractor locations as required
