Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in science or engineering from a recognized institution
- 12 or more years of relevant systems engineering experience focusing on configuration management and maintenance of Configuration Items
- Proven experience in developing products necessary for DoD acquisition phase transition, particularly during the Production and Deployment phase
- Willingness to travel domestically approximately 10% of the time
- Current Secret or DoE L clearance is required, with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Support the LRSO System Program Office (SPO) Systems Engineering division
- Lead studies and analyses for technical, programmatic, and organizational decision-making on various projects
- Conduct studies on systems architecture, technology development planning, organizational effectiveness, and risk assessments
- Plan and engage in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews
- Proactively identify systems engineering challenges and recommend appropriate actions, coordinating with internal and external contacts as needed
- Assist the SPO in producing essential milestone documentation
- Help develop acquisition-related documents such as RFPs and SOWs
- Maintain documentation according to corporate standards and present timely technical recommendations through briefings and reports
