Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related engineering field (Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline. - Over 12 years of experience in systems engineering across various technical domains, including CONOPs development, requirements specification, architecture and design, system analysis, as well as system integration and testing. - Proficiency in one or more MBSE modeling languages (SysML, UAFML, LML, etc.), methodologies (OOSEM, SysMOD, MagicGrid, etc.), and tools (Cameo, Sparx, Rhapsody, GENESYS, etc.). - Experience with all facets of space systems engineering, which encompasses architecture, engineering design, and engineering analysis. Familiarity with architecture frameworks like DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF. - Understanding of essential space system segments (space, ground, transport, launch, etc.) at multiple levels including enterprise, system of systems, and subsystem levels. - Capability to clearly convey complex ideas to clients and colleagues. - Initiative to lead technical work in DE/MBSE project teams and drive new initiatives. - Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Excellent organizational skills along with project and time management capabilities. - Competence in collaborating and coordinating efforts with both internal and external teams. - Adaptability to meet the evolving demands of our sponsors and clients. - A problem-solving, analytical mindset with an inclination towards innovation. - Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance from the U.S. Government, requiring U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

- Research, develop, and assess systems CONOPs, architecture, and design models utilizing various modeling languages such as SysML, UAFML, BPMN, RAAML, OWL, and others to support clients involved in acquiring, developing, integrating, and operating space and ground systems across all abstraction levels. - Create model patterns, libraries, templates, and reusable frameworks across diverse projects and programs. - Guide customers in selecting MBSE methods, languages, and toolsets that align with their systems engineering lifecycle requirements. - Educate Aerospace ETG, program office, and government clients on DE and MBSE principles, concepts, and practices. - Develop training materials, research papers, and presentations on DE/MBSE topics that resonate with Aerospace, our clients, and professional entities (INCOSE, AIAA, IEEE, etc.). - Actively take part in and advocate for Aerospace interests within professional DE/MBSE standards working groups and committees. - Deliver technical project leadership, mentorship, and oversight to early and mid-career team members.
