Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical or STEM-related field such as electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics.
- At least 12 years of experience in national security space and cybersecurity.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain accesses to Special Access Programs.
Responsibilities
- Own the Technical Baseline: Leverage expertise to approach cybersecurity of space systems and ground systems both offensively and defensively, ensuring smart procurement practices for advanced capabilities.
- National Space Enterprise Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with acquisition, operational, test, intelligence, and design communities for seamless system integration.
- Mission Analysis & Requirements: Conduct operational mission analyses and evaluate alternatives to convert warfighter needs into clear system requirements, statements of work, and performance metrics.
- Contractor Oversight & Verification: Lead technical assessments of contractor proposals and oversee execution to ensure compliance with performance standards.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify and develop strategies for managing technical, cost, and schedule risks to ensure mission success.
- Test & Evaluation Leadership: Organize and oversee critical test events while reviewing evaluation artifacts to confirm that complex system requirements are met.
- Leverage World-Class Labs: Initiate collaboration with Aerospaces Engineering & Technology Group, utilizing exceptional laboratory capabilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Technical Authority & Mentorship: Articulate system capabilities and constraints through expert reports and presentations while nurturing the development of aspiring engineers.
