Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a relevant technical field.
- Minimum of six years of engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
- Familiarity with RF satellite communication systems, including hardware, software, systems engineering, and RF system design.
- Knowledge of communication systems and digital signal processing principles such as modulation, coding, synchronization, estimation, and detection theory.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ programming languages.
- Eligibility for obtaining a current and active TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%, with potential increases to 20% for specific customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead and execute projects in areas including:
- Physical layer modeling and simulation.
- Communication waveform design and performance assessment.
- Design and analysis of position, navigation, and timing signals.
- Conducting communication link budget assessments.
- Evaluating existing programs and future initiatives in satellite communications, signal intelligence (SIGINT), and electronic warfare (EW).
- Developing and assessing program requirements, interfaces, and verification processes.
- Designing digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms.
- Provide actionable technical solutions to complex problems.
- Transform abstract concepts into well-defined, structured technical plans.
- Effectively communicate technical findings in written reports and presentations.
