Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field. - At least ten years of relevant engineering experience with increasing levels of responsibility. - Experience with RF satellite communication systems including hardware/software integration, systems engineering, and RF system design requirements. - Knowledge of communication systems and digital signal processing concepts such as modulation, coding, synchronization, and detection theory. - Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++. - Capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship. - Demonstrated experience in technical leadership roles. - Willingness to travel domestically, up to 10%, with potential increases to 20% based on customer demands.

Responsibilities

- Independently execute or lead projects on physical layer modeling and simulation. - Design and analyze communication waveforms for performance metrics. - Conduct design and analysis of position, navigation, and timing signals. - Perform communication link budget analysis. - Evaluate existing and future programs in satellite communications, signal intelligence, and electronic warfare. - Develop and assess program requirements, interfaces, and verification processes. - Create digital signal processing algorithm solutions. - Provide actionable technical solutions to complex national challenges. - Transform abstract concepts into structured technical plans. - Clearly communicate technical findings through written reports and presentations.
