Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field
- Substantial experience in space, intelligence, and/or defense sectors, typically 6 or more years
- Proficiency with engineering and analytical capabilities such as Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or modeling and simulation
- Experience in project planning and team leadership
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, Aerospace program offices, and contractors
- Experience in developing and presenting strategic decision-making documents for senior management
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Willingness to travel domestically < 10%
- Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- (For Senior Engineering Specialist) 10 or more years of relevant experience
- (For Senior Engineering Specialist) Exhibits a high degree of innovation and initiative
Responsibilities
- Design and develop system of systems and enterprise engineering MBSE models and mission engineering principles to capture end-to-end mission threads
- Develop and integrate analytical methods and tools to assess program and mission strategic concepts for optimal solution designs
- Lead the architecture development for modeling, simulation, and data tools, ensuring effective implementation
- Conduct models and analysis to identify and assess risks in new capabilities, guiding customer decisions on priorities and resources
- Lead project teams consisting of Aerospace, customer, and contractor personnel, ensuring effective communication of needs and requirements
- Mentor early career and experienced staff, serving as a technical advisor and role model for mission engineers
