Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
- At least 6 years of pertinent experience
- Background in the development and delivery of remote sensing systems and subsystems
- Involvement in risk management processes, including communication, mitigation, and adjudication of risk
- Experience in defining and tailoring Mission Assurance Standards
- Familiarity with supplier oversight, source inspection, and requirements verification
- Knowledge of traditional Mission Assurance disciplines
- Willingness to travel approximately 25-50%
- Current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph required, U.S. citizenship needed for security clearance
- For Senior Project Engineer: At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Proven track record of leading high-profile tasks as either an individual contributor or team lead
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across the program for traditional Mission Assurance disciplines, including hardware and software quality, reliability, and systems safety
- Monitor the supply chain throughout the program lifecycle to ensure compliance with Mission Assurance requirements and risk management processes
- Establish the Mission Assurance Standards baseline for next-generation systems
- Formulate technical positions and brief customers on significant topics related to Mission Assurance
- Guide Aerospaces Engineering and Technology Group resources to fulfill program requirements
