Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (Masters preferred) - 10-15+ years of relevant experience - Proficiency in requirements and verification processes, including management and engineering - Strong understanding of DoD compliance, particularly DoD 5000.02, Agile Software Development, and DevSecOps - Proven ability in project planning, requirement definition, and conducting program reviews for space and ground systems - Experience developing or evaluating acquisition strategies affecting decisions - Solid technical knowledge and expertise in tools such as SysML, Cameo, DOORS, Jira, Confluence, and Agile Development methodologies (SAFe/Scrum) - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to initiate tasks, lead technical projects, and engage effectively across various organizations - Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with customers, colleagues, and contractors - Flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including occasional travel - Active TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

- Provide systems engineering and acquisition support for National Security Space, civil, and commercial clients, focusing on system acquisition and operational foundations - Develop and review acquisition documents such as RFPs, CDRLs, PWSs, SOOs, and SOWs - Assemble and guide teams focused on requirements analysis to support initial acquisition efforts for Aerospace program offices - Engage in requirements development and management activities, including TRDs creation and requirements analysis. Collect and document stakeholder requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis - Lead and facilitate Lifecycle Technical Reviews, Audits, and Milestones - Direct requirements traceability and management practices, ensuring alignment of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) with mission objectives - Mentor team members in lifecycle acquisition and systems engineering - Assess opportunities for implementing Digital Engineering concepts to enhance engineering processes and capabilities - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop or evaluate requirements and design concepts for ground and space systems - Conduct independent evaluations in support of acquisition milestones, identifying technical risks and devising initial design concepts for new systems - Participate in various acquisition-related activities, including Government source selections, report preparation, briefing development, and presenting recommendations to clients and Aerospace management - Engage regularly with Aerospace program offices, clients, contractors, and Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) personnel
