Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
- At least 12 years of experience working with software, IT systems, and related technologies
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud systems
- Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating complex technical tasks
- Ability to initiate and complete tasks while learning new technical approaches
- Proven ability to foster a positive team culture and mentor team members
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one public cloud vendor (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing cloud systems to support customers
- Willingness to travel domestically for work locations, customer sites, and conferences up to 15%
- Active TS/SCI clearance issued by the U.S. government; U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and lead cloud projects for IC-facing Aerospace customer teams
- Collaborate across IC-facing customer teams to formulate a comprehensive strategy for cloud integration within their organizations
- Direct teams in researching cutting-edge cloud technologies and developing prototypes to showcase their capabilities for intelligence community missions
- Engage in in-depth technical discussions with government customers and cloud vendors to ensure solutions are successfully designed for cloud deployment
- Collaborate with corporate stakeholders to define essential cloud environments for IC-focused research and prototyping
- Partner with cloud experts and leaders in adjacent departments (e.g., cybersecurity, data) to build cross-functional technical teams and achieve project objectives
- Provide guidance to cloud leadership regarding staffing requirements for projects to enhance hiring strategies
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders
